Carina, in keeping with Swedish tradition, nails her PhD freshly printed thesis. The title is "New Arylation Strategies Based on Organomain Group Reactivity." The defence is the next and final challenge!
Jagadeesh Kalepu joins us for a two year postdoc funded by the Wenner-Gren foundation. He will be working on melding C-H activation and aryne chemistry.
Karthik becomes the first student from our group to get his PhD. Congratulations, Karthik! A special thank you goes Prof. Victor Snieckus, who travelled from Canada to provide such an interesting opposition.
